Frequently Asked Questions - scholarship
This depends on your type of mobility and on whether you applied as an exchange student or a degree student. Exchange students at undergraduate and master level can get a scholarship for a period of between 1 semester and 10 months. Exchange students at doctorate level can get a scholarship for a period of between 6 and 10 months. For exchange students at post-doctorate level the mobility lasts 6 months. The exchange period for staff is 1 month. Degree students (master and doctorate) can apply for a scholarship of 22 months. Find further information here
Neither European nor third-country candidates can benefit from a second scholarship for the same type of mobility under another project under the EMA2-STRAND1.
Signed and dated document stating that you have not benefited from an undergraduate /master/doctoral/post-doctoral/ staff scholarship under any other Erasmus Mundus Action 2 - Strand 1 project (i.e. the EM project Averroes)
You will have to write a letter yourself stating that condition. This could be an example:
"I, (your full name) hereby confirm that I have not benefited from a previous scholarship for the same type of mobility (level of mobility that you are applying for) under any other Erasmus Mundus Action 2 - Strand 1 project”
